Uhuru's visit to Nyanza has raised a lot of controversy. After postponing his trip for the second time, it has become difficult to understand
his rationale and maybe try to figure out when he will be visiting the region.
The county which has been facing a lot of leadership wrangles including the recent impeachment of their speaker is preparing to host the president. Speaking on behalf of other MPs, Dr. Nyikal told the press that President Kenyatta is welcome to Kisumu to launch development projects. "We are looking forward to his visit," the MP for  Seme added. Apparently, the Kisumu county speaker, Ms Ann Adul was sacked after dishonoring a county committee to explain on county expenditure, an action that amounted to gross misconduct according to the county leadership.
