KEROKA Town to be shared by KISII-NYAMIRA Counties

Landscape View of Keroka Town
For some time now, the two counties (Kisii and Nyamira) have been fighting over the border town. The regional business hub has experienced a management tussle between the two counties; each claiming authority.
A mole told Treadin Palour that the local authority collects millions in a day, a reason that perhaps has been causing the unending wrangles.
In a meeting chaired by Senator Chris Obure, it was agreed that the two counties shall continue to share the business town as none of them was ready to settle for less. The meeting was attended by Governors James Ongwae (Kisii) and John Nyagarama (Nyamira), Kennedy Okong'o (Senator Nyamira), Timothy Bosire (MP Kitutu Masaba) and Elijah Moindi (MP Nyaribari Masaba)
